Overview

The HP OpenCall Media Platform allows rapid development and delivery of telephony services, ranging from simply playing an audio prompt to advanced services such as unified messaging and voice portals. Its Software Development Kit (HP OCMP SDK) is a powerful development tool for application developers who need to :

• Create and test telecommunication services that require media and call control functions without having to connect to a telecom network
• Port and deploy services onto the fully operational platform
• Evaluate the HP OpenCall Media Platform.

This HP OCMP SDK is the simulated environment of the complete Media platform. It consists of two software and application samples.

• Ability to interact with Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text To Speech (TTS) synthesis engines (See Notes)

Notes

The HP OCMP SDK is pre-configured to be used with the following Nuance ASR and TTS software:

• MRCP RealSpeak™ 4.0 engine
• MRCP RealSpeak™ 4.0. US English voice Jennifer
• OpenSpeech™ Recognizer 3.0 engine
• OpenSpeech™ Recognizer 3.0  US English language pack
• SpeechWorks Media Server 3.1.4

These products are not delivered by HP. If you want to acquire them, please contact Nuance (previously named Scansoft), or your local HP contact for an evaluation version and a limited license.

Product download

The download zip file contains two executables and one zip file:

• ocmp_base executable - base subsystem providing stubbed platform, phone simulator and CCAPI interface.
• ocmp_bre executable - VoiceXML/CCXML subsystem providing VoiceXML/CCXML interfaces.
• CCAPI javadoc zip file.

Both executables are needed to test VoiceXML/CCXML services and must be installed in the order described in the OCMP SDK user guide. The ocmp_base executable is only needed to test CCAPI services.
