The HP OpenCall Media Platform (HP OCMP) OClet Development Environment simplifies the development of voice-based telephone services that run on the HP OpenCall Media Platform by integrating the extensible Eclipse platform with the HP OCMP software developer's kit.
The HP OCMP OClet Development Environment supports the full development cycle for creating telephony services in a single, integrated, familiar Java environment. In this environment, you can
- create telephony projects using a step-by-step wizard. This environment helps you to manage source code, and library, binary, and other necessary information, such as your TTS or audio files.
- generate skeletons for the user to quickly get started with his/her own telephony service.
- complete tedious and repetitive steps with a few clicks.
- package and deploy the service in simple steps.
- improve the quality of developed software and test the services without having to connect to a telecom network and a fully operational HP OCMP platform, thus keeping initial investment cost to a minimum.
The HP OCMP OClet Development Environment, the HP OCMP SDK, and the Eclipse platform are free of charge and downloadable from the Web.
unzip the downloaded hpOcletDevEnv_dist_2.0.0.zip file. If the unzip utility is not on your platform, you can run the following command to unpack the files:
jar -xf HPOcletDevEnv_dist_2.0.0.zip

Use the Installation Instructions to complete the following necessary preliminary tasks prior to unpacking the plugin files:
- Configure the Eclipse platform to find the Java Runtime Environment.
- Install the Eclipse FTP/WebDAV support if it is not yet installed.
- Specify your browser location.
