JSR 309 RI

Description

Overview

The HP OpenCall JSR 309 Reference Implementation (RI) is the first implementation of JSR 309 specification intended to proove the technical feasability and to enable demo's. It is based on the MSCML (RFC 4722) protocol to interact with the media server - HP OCMP.
The HP OpenCall JSR 309 RI runs within Java™ real time platform and is compatible with a SIP servlet implementation (JSR 116/289). The current implementation has been tested with Oracle Communications Converged Application Server 4.0. product.

The JSR 309 API is a Java™ standard co-specified by HP and Oracle whose aim is to provide multimedia application developers with a generic media server (MS) abstraction interface. It defines a programming model and object model for MS control independent of MS control protocols and provides an abstraction for a large panel of applications from a very simple ring-back tone application to the complex multi-media services.
For more information on the JSR 309 API, please refer to the overview document contained in the final release of the JSR 309 specification.
