Tripwire Enterprise users can use its Web-based console to view correlated change reports and device configuration histories, restore configurations back to a known and trusted state, and access other Tripwire Enterprise features.
The Smart Link Integration for HP Network Node Manager provides Tripwire Enterprise users:
- Real-time Integrity Checks — SNMP traps received by HP NNM (such as access to a device) automatically trigger a check to determine if changes have been made
- Manual Integrity Checks — users can select a device displayed within the HP NNM console and immediately check that device for changes
- Notification of Detected Changes — changes detected by Tripwire Enterprise are sent as SNMP alerts to the HP NNM Alarm Browser and provides relevant change information to HP NNM console operators
- Launch of the Tripwire Enterprise Web Console — from within the HP NNM interface, users can invoke the Tripwire Enterprise console at any time in its own browser window
- Import of Discovered Nodes — following HP NNM's discovery of new nodes, one or more node definitions can be selected and imported at any time into Tripwire Enterprise
