The BindView SPI for HP Software can collect and store configuration data on every managed or unmanaged server in the HP Software multi-platform environment. If a report determines that a system is vulnerable, you can gain immediate access to relevant data, such as operating system, patches, disk data, storage, and memory, with a single mouse click.
Security management
The BindView SPI for HP Software allows you to simplify and consolidate security management. Using BindView's vulnerability management solutions, you can assess vulnerability alerts across user-defined service collections. Whether information is required for mail servers, file servers, Web servers, remote access servers, or other mission-critical machines, you can collect and evaluate data on a single service collection, which can include thousands of servers and desktops throughout the enterprise. The BindView vulnerability management solutions evaluate the security vulnerabilities in the collection, and then provide a single alert to the Console operator.
Policy compliance management
With BindView SPI for HP Software, you have the ability to manage policy compliance in the HP Software environment. You can better track adherence to government mandates such as Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, GLBA, and FERC/NERC. You can also track compliance to CIS Benchmarks and your own internal policies. You can build and measure security policies, and then assess and audit adherence to these policies. Alerts are triggered from the Console if compliance is outside user-defined limits.
