Solidcore S3 Control provides a federation adaptor that enables HP Universal CMDB to obtain relevant, real-time change information on demand from S3 Control. This federated change data can be leveraged by any product integrated to the HP Universal CMDB; for example, HP Release Control uses federated change data to automate impact analysis and identify unauthorized or latent changes to make better approval decisions during the change process and enforce compliance. Our "right click" integration also enables Universal CMDB users to see a list of every single change made to a CI. This is used for failure diagnosis and reducing Meant Time to Repair.
