PageAlert is simple to use, yet powerful, alerting and notification software that provides advanced messaging and escalation management of IT problems. Integrates with OVOW and NNM for overall IT management.
PageAlert includes core functionality that keeps IT personnel informed of potential technical problems and events arising from existing systems, workload, and task management applications. With an easy-to-use graphical user interface that supports an unlimited number of devices, service providers and e-mail recipients, PageAlert helps resolve IT issues and prevent extended downtime.
PageAlert integrates as a policy with HP OpenView Operations for Windows (OVOW) and as an integration script with HP OpenView Network Node Manager (NNM). Alerts triggered by HP OpenView may be organized by application and/or message type and/or severity. Alerting and escalation can be assigned to a large variety of devices and protocols, in almost any order. Interactive Voice Response (IVR) is supported through the use of Dialogic telephony boards. Notifications are configured, logged and tracked through the use of Windows interfaces on the PageAlert sever. The PageAlert server can reside on the HP OpenView server or on a separate system.
