In addition to all the capabilities inherent to TelAlert, the TelAlert SPI for HP Operations Manager enhances the capabilities of HP Operations Manager by providing:
- Flexible notification of critical events taking advantage of the HP Operations Notification Service to all notification devices defined in TelAlert.
- IVR interface to the HP Operations Manager Message Browser that lets the users call in and retrieve details from any of HP Operations Manager message.
- Two way interaction with HP Operations Manager. Using a two-way capable device, including IVR, the user can annotate the message from a user configured list of standard annotations as well as acknowledge messages, in which case TelAlert will add an annotation stating that the message was acknowledged and then acknowledges the message in the HP Operations Manager message browser.
