ACCORD is an innovative test automation solution that improves the quality of core transaction intensive applications in a cost-effective manner. ACCORD provides a test automation solution for complex, transaction-intensive applications like sales and trading, trade processing, clearing and settlement, custodial systems and banking systems. - Test complex transaction flows by facilitating modeling of activities performed by different applications and executing these against the core application. It is complimentary to the traditional GUI based regression testing tools by testing the underlying transaction flow.
- Provide for a script-less GUI-based definition and management of various test scenarios flows and test data reducing the script maintenance overheads
- Provide an intelligent combinatorial algorithm to generate and optimize the number of test cases
- Generate views and reports on test results and track the status of different test cases significantly reducing the time taken to test and analyze results
- Supports deployment on diverse target system architectures – e.g. MQ, TIBCO, Databases, Java/J2EE applications, File Servers, Mail Servers and Supports various message formats including financial services message formats such as FIX, XML, SWIFT and FIXML
- Facilitates integration with Custom Adapters/parsers for communicating with client specific applications
Infosys Accord is integrated with HP Quality Center which helps centralize and improve test management. Accord tests can be managed from HP Quality Center through Test Plan and Test Lab modules. This enables managing accord tests along side the other manual or automated test cases within Quality Center. This facilitates a complete and end-to-end validation scenario by coordinating the execution of Manual test cases, GUI automation (QTP/Winrunner) test cases and middle-ware automation (Accord) test cases within HP Quality Center. The Accord tests can be invoked remotely from the Quality center during execution and the Test batch execution report is directly captured and updated within Quality Center.
