Product description

The EView/400 software agents reside on the AS/400 (iSeries) system(s) and communicate with the HP Operations Manager management Server via TCP/IP. EView/400 agent monitors critical management messages which are forwarded to the HP Operations Manager management Server. This enables EView400 to extend management of your IT enterprise environment by integrating the IBM AS/400 (iSeries) systems into the HP Operations Manager-managed environment, bringing service management to the IBM midrange world. Operators and Administrators can interact proactively with these critical AS/400 (iSeries) messages using HP Operations Manager capabilities for resolution.

EView/400 monitors the status and health of the OS/400 system message queues and its standard applications. This reduces complexity, increase productivity and efficiency with the HP Operations Manager operator console as central consolidation point. EView/400 coexists with existing OS/400 management solutions to increase flexibility in managing OS/400 environments.
