Avocent DSView 3 Connector

Avocent DSView 3 Connector for HP Software provides secure and centralized Access and Control to local and remote IT assets. Operators have instant access of all IT assets allowing the operator to diagnose problems and restore IT assets no longer accessible through the normal network connection as well as providing management access to BIOS and pre-boot operating system.

Through the DSView 3 Connector for HP Software the operator can diagnose and recover from Windows blue screen, pre-boot problems, and network configuration problems as well as perform critical and high risk management operation such as reconfiguration of routing tables and firewall rules or installation of patches and software application.

The connector allows for managed In-Band (RDP, VNC, Telnet) and Out-of-Band (KVM, Serial Console, Service Processor) remote access to nodes providing “Always On” remote management of assets. The connector specifically provides a right-click menu action providing power control and remote access to nodes for maintenance, recovery and management.

In addition, a new menu option allows you to open an Internet browser page that displays specific object information.
