A: No. The HP Global BTO Partner Directory is a new function offered by HP BTO Software, and is being produced and introduced by phases. At present, HP Global, Public Sector partners, and many other HP software partners are not included in this directory. Also, participation in the directory by the partners is entirely voluntary; therefore not all software partners are listed.
Q: What was the criteria for inclusion in the first release of the directory?
A: The first release of the directory included a subset of the global BTO Platinum level partners. This first release has been completed, and multiple releases of new partner information are being released on a monthly basis. It is expected that all Platinum, Gold and Silver BTO software partners will participate in the near future, with other partner types to be added as the directory grows.
Q: How often will updates be made to the directory? Who is responsible for ensuring that these updates get done?
A: Updates are scheduled on a monthly basis, with the possibility of additional updates being done when there are large amounts of new data or major changes necessary. The Software Partner Portal team is responsible for ensuring that these updates get completed; along with significant assistance for the Americas, EMEA and APJ regional representatives.

A: Contact the HP BTO software partners that you want included directly and let them know that you find the HP Global BTO Partner Directory very helpful. Let them know that you would like to see them included in the directory. The HP BTO software partner can then contact their HP Business Manager and request inclusion in the directory.

The information includes a high level corporate description, applications the partner supports, market expertise, sales areas and partner contact information. Please keep in mind that the information provided by the partner is strictly voluntary. Partner information varies by partner, and could be extensive, in-between, or minimal.

A: Software partner information is indexed by HP region, country and HP BTO Software centers. The HP BTO software partner’s company names are listed in alphabetical order. Please keep in mind that not all HP BTO software partners have provided HP BTO Software center expertise information. That means that if an HP BTO software partner is not listed within a specific HP BTO Center, it does not necessarily mean that that software partner does not have expertise in that BTO Center. It could just mean that they did not choose to list themselves in those areas.
