The SPI for Lotus Notes increases availability and performance by tracking capacity shortages and trends; thus lowering overall costs of maintaining a Lotus Domino/Notes environment.

The Lotus Domino SPI extends the HP Operations Management Software logfile encapsulator to allow access to the Lotus Notes log.nsf database by installing the NiCE Lotus Domino Smart Plug-in Add-In task for native Lotus Notes server monitoring. Lotus Notes console commands can be executed from the Operations Management console (Operations Management for UNIX only). Using the Lotus Domino SPI you can gather and monitor any Lotus Notes statistic. There are Lotus Notes server response time, database response time, Lotus Notes task, and process thread count monitors.

Standard Operations Management based configuration and distribution of the Lotus Domino SPI. Template and policy groups are organized to manage Lotus Notes Servers based upon their management function.
