If you are experiencing problems viewing or downloading our .pdf files, here are some things you might try:
|
 |
- Make sure you have the latest version of the Acrobat viewer installed. You can get this free software from Adobe. This is the most common solution to the problem of viewing the .pdf files.
- Check to see if the document has opened in a different window. Try minimizing your open programs one-by-one, in case the file is open where you can't see it.
- Try to download the file directly to your hard drive. To do this, follow these instructions:
- Mac users:
- Hold the mouse button down over the link until a menu pops up. Select "Save Link As" and choose a location to save it on your hard drive.
- Once you have finished downloading it, open it with your copy of Adobe Acrobat, or the free viewer available from the Adobe web site (www.adobe.com).
- PC and UNIX users:
- Right-click on the link, and a menu should pop up. Select "Save Link As" and choose a location on your hard drive.
- Once it has finished downloading, open it with your copy of Adobe Acrobat, or the free viewer available from the Adobe web site (www.adobe.com).
- Remove the Acrobat Plug-in. To do this, follow this procedure:
- Find the file NPPDF32.DLL , which is your Acrobat plug-in file. To find where this is located, start up Netscape and type in the location bar 'about:plugins' (without the '' s).
- Open the folder/directory which Netscape indicated the file NPPDF32.DLL was in.
- Make a temporary folder inside of your current folder.
- Copy the file NPPDF32.DLL to this temporary folder.
- Delete the original file that was in the folder indicated when you did 'about:plugins'.
- Restart Netscape.
